It’s been a while we discussed many ideas and thoughts about potential investment in several key districts or regencies in Indonesia according to its unique advantages. One of them is the Regency of Tambrauw in West Papua Province, thank to our long time friend, Nonette Royo, founder and former director of the Samdhana Institute. Nonette and her team have long been working in Tambrauw assisting community to map their ancestral domains. Learning from our works to promote sustainable investment in key districts or regencies, she’d like to combine with the works they’ve been doing, and one key opportunity of Tambrauw that has been declared as a Conservation Regency.
And here I am, packing my stuff and ready to go to Tambrauw. The Samdhana’s team has set an appointment to meet the Regent (Bupati), to allow us to convey our intent to work together with Tambrauw government.
Warm regards
